well there's up sides and sown sides to the fresh aloe and the premade stuff.

fresh aloe: pro(s)- it doesn't have fragrance that can cause irritation and other such chemicals

con- it smells awful

premade stuff: pro(s)- it doesn't have the awful smell and it may have some extra moisturizers and vitamins that the fresh doesn"t

con- it have the chemicals and stuff that may be harmful to a sensitive scalp

It seems also that you may wanna focus more on a moisturizing conditioner than shampoos

shampoos take away oils and stuff from the hair and scalp
