Hair loss at 18?

hi everyone,

im 18 and have a small amount of hair loss on both side of my forehead. its big enough on each side that i can fit the tips of 3 finger on each side between the hair and where the wrinkles start (when i raise my eyebrows)

ive always been a worrier unfortuantly, and want to keep my full ead of hair for life if possible, but its not looking great right now.

my dad is bald but none of his ancestors are bald, not his dad nor his dad. my grandfather on my mums side also has a full head of hair at 70.

i was wondering if u could tell me my chances with it, and if it was to get worse, what avenue of hair loss treatment should i explore.

thanks guys, i really apprecate it.

Hi. Are you under a lot of stress right now, or did you just start taking a new medication? Either of these could cause temporary hair loss. If that is the case, try to relax. Your hair will grow back.

Genetically, we are more like our grandparents than our parents. So, in this case, you probably will keep your full head of hair. Also, try not to worry. Do something productive instead, that will get your mind off things. Talk a walk. Read. Call a friend. Anything, but worry.

Best wishes.

It is possibly, it can run in your family, stress also causes hair loss, and if you are really getting worried i would see a demitoligust to make sure nothing was really wrong hun

Vitamins for Hair Loss

Hair loss at 18?

Vitamins are essential for proper hair growth. For healthy sebum in the scalp we require vitamin A. Graying and loss of hair is arrested with the intake of Vitamin B6 and B12. Keratin is produced by Biotin and hair follicles are kept healthy by inositol. Panthothenic acid and Para-amino benzoic acids are also beneficial. These vitamins are present in fruits such as lemon, pineapple and strawberry and in vegetables such as potato.

About 50 to 100 milligrams a day of vitamin B6 taken for one or two months helps decrease hair fall. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair. Check out
